Postwar kitchens rebuilt, hall bathrooms modernized, full renovations planned in 3D by a licensed contractor.
Renton has real range: wartime and postwar houses in the Highlands and near downtown, lake-view homes climbing Kennydale, and 1990s to 2000s two-stories up on Benson Hill. In the older stock the kitchen is small and the hall bathroom smaller, and both are usually the first rooms a new owner rebuilds.
Small rooms are a planning problem before they are a construction problem. We start with measurements and a 3D model, so a Highlands kitchen gains an island and real storage without guessing, and a five-by-eight bathroom turns into a walk-in shower that actually fits. In the newer Benson Hill homes the work is usually finish-level: cabinets, stone, tile.
Our office is in downtown Bellevue, straight down I-405, and Alex brings the cabinet door, stone and tile samples to the consultation, so you decide at your own kitchen table.

Book a Free ConsultationRain City is a licensed, bonded and insured Washington general contractor (License #BIRIUCL808C6). Plumbing, electrical, tile and carpentry run under one schedule, so you make one call when you have a question and one signature covers the work.
After measurements we build a 3D visualization of the finished room. You move the island, swap the door style or change the tile on screen, not after the old kitchen is gone.
We source and deliver cabinets, stone and tile, take out the old kitchen or bath and haul the debris away, so you are not coordinating suppliers, trucks and dumpsters.
Read what Eastside homeowners say about the work, the schedule and the cleanup before you call. Then call and ask us anything the reviews did not answer.
Inside or outside the city line. Parts of the East Renton Highlands and Fairwood carry Renton mail but sit in unincorporated King County. We check the parcel and file the permit with the City of Renton or the county, whichever actually covers your address.
Postwar wiring and plumbing. Houses from the 1940s and 50s often need electrical or plumbing brought up to code once a wall opens. You hear about it with a price first, and it is billed separately from the original estimate.
Living at home. Almost everyone stays. We set up a temporary kitchen corner with the essentials and keep the work zone contained and cleaned up daily.
Deliveries and debris. We deliver the materials, dismantle the old rooms and haul everything away, keeping the project off your driveway and out of your weekends.
" From the very first day, I aim to build a friendly and positive relationship with each customer. My core values are responsibility, meeting deadlines, and delivering exceptional quality in every project.

Once plumbing, electrical, layout or structure changes, yes. Depending on the parcel that means the City of Renton or King County, and we handle the filing either way.
Often yes. A tub-to-shower conversion works in the same footprint, and the 3D plan shows exactly what fits before demolition.
Scope sets the clock: countertop swaps and refacing take about 2 to 4 weeks, a typical kitchen 6 to 12 weeks, and a full renovation that moves walls can run 3 to 4 months. The written schedule comes before the work does.
